
December is certainly a stressful month no matter what your holiday tradition
When that stress is overwhelming here’s a solution. Take a cup of Epsom salts, put 8 – 10 drops of therapeutic grade lavender essential into the salts and stir around so that the oils are absorbed by the salts. Run a warm bath, dissolve the salts in the bath water. Dim the lights, light a few candles and pop into the bath – ahhhhhhhhhhh. Take a few deep inhales of the lavender scent which will work on your limbic system to relax you. When you’re done dry off put on some jammies and off to a relaxing sleep.
The reason for putting the oil in the Epsom salts is that the oils do not just float to the top of the water but are absorbed by the salts and mix with the water. The salts also help provide some detoxifying.
