Day Time Moisturizers

Its morning and you’re getting ready for a busy day. You’ve cleansed, toned, applied the appropriate serum(s) – Now it’s time for the finishing touch – the moisturizer.

Day moisturizers, although lighter, function similarly to evening moisturizers. They seal in all that good treatment while adding hydration. However, day moisturizers must perform one more important function – protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays. These rays come from the direct sunlight as well as through windows and indoor lighting particularly fluorescent lighting.

Your hydrator/moisturizer/sunscreen should be applied every day, rain or shine. Be sure to catch the ears, neck and décolleté.

As a side note: did you know that applying cologne or perfume to the décolleté can make that area sun sensitive causing hyperpigmentation and other sun damage? So spray your fragrance where the sun doesn’t shine.

I carry 3 day moisturizers, all with sunscreen. Two have an SPF 25 and one is an SPF 30.

pHaze 6+ is for normal to dry and mature skin. pHaze 7 is less heavy for normal to oily skin. Both of those are SPF 25.

pHaze 30 is a face and body hydrator with SPF 30. It is great for using on the face when you’re going to be out in the sun for a while, say at the soccer game.
